BSNL cables damaged during Metro work 

BSNL land lines in certain parts of Kochi will remain out of order for the next few days since a couple of main cable lines were damaged during the Metro work on the Sahodaran Ayappan (SA) road.

KOCHI: BSNL land lines in certain parts of Kochi will remain out of order for the next few days since a couple of main cable lines were damaged during the Metro work on the Sahodaran Ayappan (SA) road on Thursday.BSNL cables were damaged during the construction work being carried out in front of Mother and Child Hospital. Two main cables carrying 800 and 400 pairs of sub-cables were damaged during the work. 

Due to this, BSNL land phone connections will be affected at Vytilla Junction, Janatha Road, Paradise Road, Shine Road, Kachapilly Road, Major Road and Mapillassery Road. According to the BSNL office in Kochi, restoration work has been started and it will take at least four days to complete the work.
