Dhanush’s son Linga turns 8 years old today received wishes from the star’s fans.

Dhanush’s son Linga celebrated his birthday on June 21 and the actor’s Twitter account was flooded with wishes for his son. To thank all his fans, he later took to Twitter and shared an adorable picture with his son. “Sincere thanks to everybody for wishing linga. He is lucky to have all your blessings. Happy birthday #linga .. god bless you. YES .. reach for the stars,” he wrote.

Dhanush and Aishwarya R Dhanush are parents two sons, Yatra Raja and Linga Raja. The two tied the knot in 2004 and Aishwarya also directed her husband in the film 3 starring Shruti Haasan.

Speaking about his wife, Dhanush earlier told Deccan Chronicle, “My wife is my biggest critic. It’s very difficult to make her happy or impress her. She’s very critical even if the whole world is saying my work is fantastic. The most you will get from her is ‘Haan, it was nice’ and that’s all. Even if I’m hard on myself, it only helps me improve. She’s seen so much; her father is a superstar. So I think it’s a very difficult task to impress her.”

On the work front, the actor is busy working on Maari 2 and his big-budget directorial, which is expected to be bankrolled by Thenandal Films. He is also looking forward to the release of the first part of Vada Chennai in September, which is directed by Vetrimaaran. The Kollywood star’s first international film, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, also received good reviews.
