Goa Kings Beer eyes 50-60 per cent sales jump on FIFA World Cup

MUMBAI: Viiking Beverages that sells the Goa Kings Beer brand today said it is expecting 50-60 per cent growth in overall revenue during this World Cup season.

The company has brands like Goa Kings Beer, Royal Oak Whisky and SJJ XXX Vodka, a release said here.

"We are projecting a 60 per cent spike in Goa Kings Beer. Currently we are selling 2,000 bottles a day and are expecting this to go up to 80,000 bottles a day during the World Cup," Viiking Ventures group CMO Manoj Asrani said.

Viiking is expecting the demand to come from key states like Goa, Kerala, Maharashtra and Delhi.

"We are also expecting the sales of our other brands like Royal Oak Whisky and SJ XXX Vodka to increase by 30-40 per cent respectively," he said.

Viiking Beverages sells an average of 11,000 cases a month in Goa, it biggest market in terms of volumes revenue.
