Four people were injured in a clash between two groups over a land dispute at Barnabi village in Shamli district, police said today.
Circle Officer Rajesh Tiwari said the trouble started yesterday when revenue official Lekhpal reached to resolve a dispute over a piece of land between Lakhminder and Irshad.
An argument between the parties soon turned heated and they freely used lathis and sharp weapons on each other, he said.
Lakhminder, Mahender Kaur, Irshad and Dilshad were injured in the incident, the CO said, adding they were admitted to a hospital.
