ALLAHABAD:
Allahabad high court on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking registration of FIR against CM Yogi Adityanath and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das of
Ayodhya and others in connection with alleged forceful entry and demolition of Ganga Bhawan, a building in Daraganj locality of Allahabad.
The petitioners had also sought CBI probe into the alleged incident.
Dismissing the petition filed by Lallu Lal Chaudhari and another, the division bench directed them to make all these pleas before the court of special chief judicial magistrate, Allahabad, where an application filed by them seeking similar relief had been pending. The court also directed the special chief judicial magistrate, Allahabad to decide the application of the petitioners pending before him within three weeks.
The court also permitted the petitioners to remove the name of CM from the list of opposite parties.
