A popular restaurant at Sikes Senter Mall will find a new home later this summer, a move that will increase work staff by 20 percent.
Co-owner of the Buffalo Wild Wings in the mall, Michael Burton, said the restaurant will be moving to its new location on Call Field Road in mid-August.
The co-owner of the Abilene-based franchise group, Wingsport, said the Wichita Falls Buffalo Wild Wings has been in the mall since June of 2005 and will close a few days before the new location opens its doors.
“Customers and team members will be able to experience a more open and inviting environment when the new restaurant opens,” Burton said, adding that the menu and seating will not change. The audio and visual effects will be all new and exciting for their guest, he said.
Burton said customers will find a stand-alone restaurant with a more open and inviting layout and will be a more beautiful experience .
“We will be adding an additional 20 percent to our staff at the new location," he said. "We will be looking for all positions, cooks, servers, host, cashiers and management.
