Mike Pagtakhan will not be seeking re-election in Point Douglas
SuppliedPoint Douglas city councillor Mike Pagtakhan will not be seeking re-election in the fall civic election.
Pagtakhan made the announcement at city hall during Thursday morning’s city council meeting. He was first elected in 2002.

Earlier this year Jenny Gerbasi announced she would not be seeking a sixth term.
The Fort Rouge-East Fort Garry councillor is the longest-serving elected official at city hall.
Charleswood area voters could also have a new name and voice representing them at city hall come October 24.
In May Winnipeg city councillor Marty Morantz announced he will seek the Conservative nomination for the 2019 federal election in the Charleswood-St. James-Assiniboia-Headingley riding.
Morantz was elected to council in 2014.
