BJP minister Babul Supriyo today staged a protest, along with party leaders and workers, at the Trinamool Congress' office in Delhi against the Mamata Banerjee government.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today retaliated strongly to the comment of state BJP chief Dilip Ghosh that the saffron party would not take it lying down if its workers were attacked by the members of ruling party.

"We are not a militant organisation like the BJP. They are creating fights not only among Christians, Muslims but also among Hindus," said Banerjee.

Yesterday, Ghosh had claimed that some TMC leaders and workers were flexing muscles and threatening BJP workers.

"Either they will go to jail or there will be direct encounters. We are counting the bullets which killed our workers," the BJP leader had said.

On the other hand, Union Minister Babul Supriyo today staged a protest, along with Delhi BJP leaders and workers, at the Trinamool Congress' office in the national capital against the Mamata Banerjee government.

The war of words between the two parties has been growing after the recently held state Panchayat polls.

Recently, a Bengal BJP worker Trilochan Mahato was killed in Purulia after the panchayat election results were announced.
