CAIT delegation calls on Puri, seeks notifications of Master Plan amendments

A delegation of a traders body today called on Hardeep and urged him to "notify the amendments" proposed in the Master Plan of 2021 which were approved by the DDA.

The delegation of Confederation of All Traders (CAIT) led by its also thanked who approved the amendments on June 19.

The amendments seek to provide relief to traders from an ongoing sealing drive by bringing uniform floor area ratio (FAR) for shop-cum-residence plots and complexes at par with residential plots.

Several shops in many parts of are lying sealed after facing action on the directions of a Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee for failing to deposit conversion charges according to Master Plan 2021.

"The CAIT urged Hardeep to notify the amendments so that properties lying sealed could be desealed," the CAIT said in a statement.
