K S Rangappa: Haven’t been offered adviser’s post

Putting an end to the controversy over appointment of the advisor to higher education minister, K S Rangappa, former  V-C of Mysore universitysaid that he has not sought any such posts.

BENGALURU: Putting an end to the controversy over appointment of the advisor to higher education minister, K S Rangappa, former  V-C of Mysore university — who is a close relative of CM H D Kumaraswamy — said that he has not sought any such posts.

Speaking to TNIE, Rangappa, said even the CM has not discussed about it or offered him any such posts. “Even I am watching the statements and media reports, carefully. As of now, there is no such discussion held or such post offered to me,” he said.

However, Rangappa also said that, in case if he is offered such a post, he will accept it. “I have not asked for any post. In the future, if I get an offer from the government, I will take it and use my experience to work at that particular level,” he said. Meanwhile, he said those who are raising allegations against him should prove them in public.
