The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District recently approved two director board members.
Stark County resident James M. Gresh was appointed to the board by 12 judges who attended the annual Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Court held June 1 at the Tuscarawas County Courthouse in New Philadelphia. Gresh fills the unexpired term of Steven Paquette, also of Stark County, who unexpectedly died in April. The term expires July 18, 2022.
Gresh is the owner of Boone Road Enterprises LLC and is engaged in timber investment, forestry management research and creative wood products. He previously served as executive director of the Timken Foundation of Canton after retiring from The Timken Co., where he worked for 33 years. He also has served in numerous nonprofit board positions.
The court also approved Joanne Limbach, of Tuscarawas County, for her second term on the board, which will expire July 12, 2023. Other members of the board are board President Clark E. Sprang, of Holmes County; Gordon T. Maupin, of Wayne County; and Robert S. Moorehead Jr., of Guernsey County.
Members of the board are appointed by the conservancy court to oversee the operations and business affairs of the MWCD, which manages 54,000 acres of land and water dedicated to public use.
