Kreeger to retire from Virgin Atlantic

He will take over his new role from January 1 next year.

 

 

Kreeger will remain with the airline until his retirement and will assist Wess with the transition.

 

 

Since August 2012 Weiss has been serving Virgin Atlantic as the board member and later took the role of chief commercial officer in January 2017.

 

 

Kreeger stated that after his appointment as the chief executive in 2013, he had ensured that Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays realised their full potential of empowering people to provide the unique services by the Virgin Atlantic which has been a delight for the customers.

 

 

Their partnership with Delta has transformed the financial performance of the company.

 

 

 

Kreeger mentioned that Shai had immensely supported him since his joining in the year 2014 and he considered that this was the ideal time to pass on the leadership baton to Shai and start off with a  new chapter.
