U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus recently introduced a bill that would waive the application fee for veterans groups holding demonstrations and special events at war memorials.
Rep. Rothfus introduced that legislation because a veterans group from his district could have been impacted by the confusing rules of the National Park Service. He became aware of the issue, took care of it for his people, and then went after the problem in defense of all veterans groups.
This is the type of man we need to keep in Washington; one who is truly working for his constituents.
