Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has sacked 1,010 contractual employees for taking part in a strike earlier this month. The action is a stern warning to employees that such acts of indiscipline will not be tolerated, an MSRTC official said.

Thousands of MSRTC employees had gone on a strike on June 8 and 9, demanding salary hike.
