The traffic police have imposed certain traffic restrictions on a few stretches in the city from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday in view of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s programme of house-site patta distribution at a meeting at Andhra University Engineering College Grounds.
ADCP (traffic) M Ramesh Kumar said traffic will be diverted on the Siripuram-Pedawaltair Junction, Maddilapalem Junction-Three Town police station, Satyam Junction- Rama Talkies Junction, Maddilapalem-Swarna Bharati Indoor Stadium and YMCA-Bheemili stretches in the city.
The police appealed to the public not to use these roads and suggested to use alternative routes during that time.
As the Chief Minister will be attending a few programmes in Yendada and Bheemili areas in the city, the police have imposed traffic restrictions on heavy vehicles on the NH-16 and Beach Road stretch.
