Author David Drayer to appear at Willoughby library

Author David Drayer will discuss his new book “Wayward Son: Travels and Reflections” at 6:30 p.m., June 26, at Willoughby Public Library, 30 Public Square.

“Wayward Son,” Drayer’s first non-fiction book, shares his travels through Hollywood, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and more, according to a news release.

He is also the author of the novels “Strip Cuts,” “Something Fierce” and “A Noble Story.” Born in the small town of Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, he has traveled and lived all over the country and formerly taught creative writing at Lakeland Community College, the release stated.

Drayer’s new book will be available for purchase at the event and he will be greeting the public and signing books following his presentation.
