DK Pandey is new Ranchi DSP

The Government on Wednesday transferred 16 JPS officials from their current postings. Ranchi Sadar DSP Vikas Chandra Shrivastava has been sent as SDPO Deoghar and replaced by Deepak Kumar Pandey who was Deoghar SDPO earlier. 

Toppo bags ‘Employ of the month’ award

Toppo on Wednesday bagged ‘Employ of the month’ award for her performance. DRM, VK Gupta felicitated Toppo. As per the record, Toppo had collected Rs. 3, 97, 055 (698 cases) in May 2018. Besides Toppo, other staffs of railway too were felicitated for their outstanding contribution in different categories by the senior officials.

New number of Rajdhani Express

The communiqué released by Railways on Wednesday stated that the number of New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Gomo12439/12440 has been changed. As per the statement, the new number is 20839/208402.

DC reviews road construction

Ranchi DC, Rai Mahimapat Ray reviewed the status of ongoing projects of Road Construction Division on Wednesday. Taking up the development of Ranchi Ring Road Plan, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), RCD (Urban), NH division was discussed with the officials. Ranchi DC instructed the officials to resolve the land issues at the earliest.

SBPS on International Yoga Day

The Sarala Birla University Ranchi, under the aegis of School of Yoga & Naturopathy offers different courses on Yoga & Naturopathy from this academic year 2018-19. The government of India has decided to take forward the momentum created by International Day of Yoga, 2015 with greater and more active participation of youth during the current year celebrations. The School of Yoga & Naturopathy of The Sarala Birla University Ranchi also committed to popularize the Yoga & Naturopathy in the society at large.

SBPS celebrates Father’s Day

Students from KG-I to Std. II celebrated Father’s Day at the Sarala Birla Public School (SBPS) and expressed their love and affection for their fathers by participating in Inter- house Card Making and Drawing & Colouring Competition. The Principal said that the aim of this activity is to make the students realise that father is the one who puts in every ounce of his energy in making them happy, in the same way children too must try to keep their fathers happy by obeying.

LED vehicles used for publicity

The District Public Relation Officer of Ranchi organised LED vehicles for the publicity of various schemes by the government, such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, road safety etc. in various block and areas of the City. Audio/Video representations were shown regarding the schemes along with a speech by PM Narendra Modi. A total of around five hundred to six hundred people were present.
