A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon when he collided with a sedan at a residential intersection during a downpour, according to DeLand police.
The call was made at 2:40 p.m. and the wreck happened at the corner of North Boston and East Wisconsin avenues, less than a mile from Stetson University.
When paramedics arrived, the motorcyclist had no vital signs, officials said in unconfirmed scanner traffic.
No additional details were available Thursday afternoon.
