Lucas Torreira claim

01:00: Cesc Fabregas reckons Arsenal will be buying someone special in Lucas Torreira.

Arsenal are on the brink of signing Torreira for a fee of £26million.

And Fabregas - who previously played for Arsenal - has been impressed with what he’s seen from Torreira.

“I think he’s one of the positives of the tournament, individually, so far,” Fabregas said.

“He hasn’t played a lot but you can see that he has a lot of personality, likes to play, he’s not scared.”

Can medical

22:50: Emre Can is closing in on a free transfer to Juventus with a medical scheduled for Thursday morning.

And after months of speculation, Can finally appears set to join Serie A champions Juventus.

According to several Italian reports, Can will undergo a medical at 8.30 UK time and will put pen to paper on a five-year-deal.

Liverpool have already secured a replacement for Can in signing Fabinho from Monaco.

Musa to Galatasaray

21:55: Ahmed Musa's agent says the Leicester forward is in talks with Turkish side Galatasaray.

Speaking to radio station Radyospor, Musa's agent William D’avila is quoted by the Leicester Mercury as saying: "Yes, we are in talks with Galatasaray. They are a huge club who’ll play in the Champions League. So why not? The transfer is possible.

"Musa has offers from other clubs but he’s keen on playing for Galatasaray.

“We are currently working on a loan deal with an option to buy. He’ll make a decision soon. I think we can say there’s a 50 percent chance of Musa joining the club."

Bale to Arsenal a no go

20:35: Gareth Bale’s agent would love the Real Madrid superstar to join Arsenal - but admitted there is no chance he will end up at the Emirates Stadium.

Former Tottenham forward Bale faces an uncertain future at Real Madrid after a difficult season at the Bernbaeu but representative Jonathan Barnett says he is happy in Spain.

“He loves his life in Spain,” Barnett said. “He has three children, and he's very happy there. But we have to see.

“He has to play football. (As an Arsenal fan) I'd love him to play there but it's got as much chance as me going to the moon.”

Fekir to Liverpool latest

19:30: Nabil Fekir to Liverpool was ‘almost done’ earlier this month, claims Sky Spots reporter Dharmesh Seth.

Seth believes the Reds could reignite their interest in the 24-year-old after the tournament in Russia.

He claims Klopp’s determination to get the players he wants, similar to how he waited patiently to land Virgil van Dijk from Southampton last season, could see the Merseyside club go all out for Fekir next month.

“The deal was most definitely on and almost done," Sheth said on Sky’s transfer talk podcast.

"Could it be revived? Potentially. Liverpool are one of the few clubs that go for a player and, if it doesn’t work out, they wait. Jurgen Klopp was so adamant over Virgil van Dijk that he waited after the hoo-ha of last summer.

“It wouldn’t surprise me, if there is a chance this Fekir deal can be revived, that he won’t go for anyone else.”

Transfer news: Gareth Bale remains a priority target for Manchester United

Man Utd’s Bale bid

18:20: Manchester United have told Real Madrid they will offer Paul Pogba and cash to sign Gareth Bale this summer, reports claim.

Spanish website Don Balon claim the Red Devils have made their first bid.

United are supposedly willing to include Pogba in any potential operation.

Mourinho has reportedly told United to include Pogba in the Bale operation.

And Don Balon say they are also aware that a straight swap deal may not be enough to land the wing wizard.

United are also prepared to offer a large cash sum.

Martins race on

17:30: Arsenal are leading the charge to lure Gelson Martins to the Premier League, the bookies say.

Liverpool and Everton have also been linked with the 23-year-old winger.

Arsenal are seemingly frontrunners with odds of 5/2 to be Martins’ next club, while Liverpool and Everton are their nearest challengers at 5/1 each.

A BetStars spokesperson said: “Portuguese midfielder Gelson Martins has become the subject of a transfer tug-of-war after cancelling his contract with Sporting Lisbon and the 23-year-old looks destined for a switch to the Premier League this summer.

“Arsenal are the current 5/2 frontrunners to lure the Portugal international to the Emirates next season, while Merseyside rivals Everton and Liverpool are both priced at 5/1 to line up a move for the talented youngster.

Morata to leave?

16:00: Chelsea's £58million striker Alvaro Morata could leave Stamford Bridge after one season, with AC Milan and former club Juventus keeping tabs, the Daily Mirror reports.

The 25-year-old is said to want to return to Italy after a difficult season and Milan are reported to have approached the Blues over a possible loan with a permanent option.

Chelsea are said to be looking at Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski as a potential replacement.
