Karnataka Bank earmarks Rs 2900 Cr for export sector
India’s exports will rise in 2018-19 spurred by positive global economic outlook, according to Karnataka Bank Managing Director M.S.Mahabaleshwara. His bank, he said, has set aside Rs 2900 crore for this year to support export sector on priority basis.
In the last financial year, bank’s export credit increased by 21% on year-on-year basis, he said at the Forex Business Conference of the bank held in Mangalore.
