We live in a generation where we can use our phones as maps and navigation to get from place to place. Back in the 70's there was no such technology and instead drivers used cassette tapes.
The idea of using a cassette tape as a navigation tool seems a bit far-fetched but there are various reasons why this would never work in today's age.
Pop in those cassettes
Imagine having a pre-recorded cassette tape with all the directions you need and popping in a different tape whenever you take a different route.
A nifty control unit that works in unison with the car and its distance, lets the driver know when and where the next turn off point is.
Thankfully, technology has grown in leaps and bounds since the 70's, lets not forget this was pretty amazing for its time, perhaps even the pioneer of today's astounding forms of navigation.
