Is this Ajith’s look from Viswasam? Here’s the truth

Ajith is all set to shed his trademark salt-and-pepper look for his upcoming film, Viswasam. The actor will have two different looks in the Siva directorial and all precautions are being taken to keep them under wraps. This secrecy has only increased the curiosity of fans. So, when a vernacular magazine, Anada Vikatan did a Viswasam special, fans assumed the picture featured in it to be Ajith’s new look in the film and have been sharing it on social media. However, the still is from an old Ajith film.

During Viswasam’s 30-day schedule in Hyderabad, the levels of secrecy were so high that fans were not allowed on the sets. What is clear though is that Ajith will portray two different looks. Initially, it was reported that parts of the film will be based in north Chennai, and accordingly Ajith is expected to have a ‘thara’ local look in the film other than the one he has shot for during the Hyderabad schedule.

In a media interaction, stunt choreographer Dhilip also revealed that there are five stunt sequences in the film, of which one has been shot in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. He said, “There are five fights in the film and they are different stylistically. We completed a comedy-based fight scene in the Hyderabad schedule,” he said.

Viswasam is expected to hit the screens for Diwali along with Thalapathy 62 and Suriya’s NGK. However, after the delay in shoot, it is unclear if the filmmakers will be able to finish film in time. Nayanthara plays the female lead in this film which also stars Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Madhumitha and others.
