Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

The Manipur government will build 20 to 30 houses in each of the 60 Assembly constituencies for people whose homes were destroyed in the recent floods.

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh told this to reporters in Imphal while interacting with the representatives of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Representatives of IOC had come to donate 500 cylinders to the flood-affected people as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Chief Minister said, almost 2 lakh people have been affected due to the flash floods triggered by torrential rain.
