Schenectady restaurant, bar holding ribbon cutting

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Wednesday to celebrate the opening of Daley's on Yates, a restaurant and bar in downtown Schenectady launched by the owners of Troy-based Old Daley Custom Catering.

Schenectady mayor Gary McCarthy and Kristen Cargill, vice president of membership at the Capital Region Chamber, will attend the event, which will start at 4 p.m. at 10 Yates St.

Proceeds from the event, which is invitation-only, will benefit the Schenectady City Mission's Ambassador Program.
