
Pair had over 320 grams of cocaine, State Police say

Two New York City men are facing multiple felonies after State Police say they found over 328 grams of cocaine in their car on the Thruway near New Paltz.
State Police stopped a vehicle at around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday. During the stop troopers searched the car and found the drugs, according to a news release. The two men in the car, Santo E. Martinez, 56, and Carlos C. Nunez, 28, were charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
They were arraigned in Plattekill town court and send to Ulster County jail with no bail. Both are due back in New Paltz town court at a later date.
