Did Andy Murray really say THIS during Queen's clash with Nick Kyrgios?

Murray was making his long-awaited comeback after 342 days sidelined with a hip injury.

And the pair put on an exciting first set which the Brit won 6-2 but it was full of tweeners and trick shots from Kyrgios.

In the second set, the Australian broke in the opening game before a double fault gifted Murray a leveller.

Following the mistake, Murray could be heard asking himself: "Am I wasting my time?”

The jibe was perhaps aimed at Kyrgios who appeared more out to entertain the packed out

Prior to the clash, Kyrgios had laid out his plan to enjoy the occasion of playing against the former world No 1 in front of his home fans.

“It's going to be a good match,” Kyrgios said.

“Even against Roger I just had a lot of fun when I was out there.

“There were early points in the match where we were both laughing and enjoying ourselves.

”I mean, obviously I'm going to go out there and win tomorrow, I want to win.

“Don't get me wrong. But I'm not going to not have fun or not enjoy myself at the same time.”

The winner of Murray’s match against Kyrgios faces either Kyle Edmund or Ryan Harrison in round two.
