A cooking contest presented by The Hindu Group will be conducted at Fortune Pandiyan Hotel here on Sunday.

Cook your favourite dish that represents the flavours of Tamil Nadu at home and bring it to the venue. The dish could be either vegetarian or non-vegetarian; starter, main course, snack or dessert. Cook your dishes using Naga Food Products and Fortune Sunflower Oil and bring the covers to the venue to gain extra points. The contest will start at 10 a.m.
A panel of judges headed by Chef Damu will select the five best cooks. The winners will participate in the grand finale in Chennai for the title ‘Master Chef of Tamil Nadu.’ The district-level winners stand a chance to win lots of prizes and the grand finale winners can take home gifts worth ₹10 lakh.
