Rodger's Quick Take

Before it becomes old news, but never forgotten, Phil Mickelson's meltdown on Saturday at the U.S. Open was surprising and made him look foolish. It was hard for me to believe it was Mickelson behaving like a child, but it was. If he was trying to make a point that the golf course was set up too difficult by the USGA, it didn't work. It was a bad mark on a player who had the respect of the entire golfing world. Not any longer. Not after acting like a frustrated child playing miniature golf and running to stop his own putt. Rodger Wyland is the sports director for NewsChannel 13. Listen to him weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon on WTMM (104.5 FM, "The Team").
