June 18 meeting

MONDAY MEETING

KEY ACTION Council agreed to cancel its July 2 meeting. Next meeting will be held on Monday July 16.

Councilman Dave Frye reported the Joint Arrowhead Fire District Board will meet this week. Staffing of the board and possible changes to the building will be discussed.

DISCUSSION Police Chief Dennis Moody reported that Ralph Tice, the new police officer, is very dependable and doing a very good job. Tice was hired by council at its June 4 meeting. Police will check for reports about motorcycles speeding through the village.

OTHER NEWS

n Mayor Dave Zimmerman said he was asked if information about a Farmer's Market to be held in July could be posted on the sign at the village square.

n Resident Chris Edwards asked if residents are given information about what items can be collected as recyclables. Village Clerk Kim Stull said information is distributed to residents by Kimbles each year.

n It was noted that a property on which a tree has fallen is inside the village limits.

UP NEXT Council will meet at 7 p.m. July 16 in village hall.
