MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Right Commission has issued a show cause notice to Congress president Rahul Gandhi for allegedly disclosing the identity of two minor boys of Wakdi village in Jalgaon District.

Pravin Ghuge chairman of the commission told TOI that Gandhi has disclosed the identity of two minor boys who were entered a well to swim in Wakdi village on a Twitter handle. The notice was issued following a complaint by a Chira Bazaar (Mumbai) resident.

The commission, however, asked Gandhi to reply within 10 days. “We have issued notice to Rahul Gandhi via e-mail and by post as well,” said Ghuge. Gandhi tweeted that the only crime of the boys was that they took a dip in a well. He said history would not forgive those who do not raise their voice against the politics of hate and poison of the RSS and BJP along with video.
