Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

World-renowned Mimicry artist Nerella Venu Madhav passed away this morning in Hanmakonda in Telangana after a brief illness. He was 85. Born in Warangal in 1932, Venu Madhav had become synonymous to mimicry art at a very young age.

He has been nominated for the then Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council when former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao was Chief Minister of the state and served for six years from 1972. He was fluent in several languages and his inimitable style of mimicry made him popular. He was awarded Padmashree in 2001.

State Government has decided to give a state funeral for Venu Madhav. Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao conveyed deep condolences to the members of the bereaved family. Condolences also poured in from all sections of society.
