Harry Kane scored both goals in the Three Lions’ 2-1 win over Tunisia.
The Tottenham man opened the scoring early on and scored a dramatic winner in the closing stages.
And Shearer says Kane has repaid Southgate’s faith in picking him as skipper.

“Because he might not shout, he might not scream, he might not clench his fist, but when the manager is looking for someone to do something on a pitch, he looks to his captain for a moment of inspiration.
“To give them hope, to give them belief, and Harry has given him all of that tonight.
“Two very, very good goals, two well-worked set pieces.

“But they kept on going, no one can say they didn’t deserve the game, because they did.
