Mahoning Valley, DSL Indians win in day’s lone action | Indians minors roundup for June 18

• Adoni Kery and three relievers combined on a three-hitter to lead short-season Single-A Mahoning Valley (4-0) to a 4-1 win at State College. Up, 1-0, the Scrappers blew it open with a three-run ninth, highlighted by Gian Paul Gonzalez’s two-run single to plate Michael Tinsley and Henry Pujols. Dakody Clemmer (1-0) got the win with 2 1/3 shutout and hitless innings of relief.

• Jeikol Contreras doubled and had three RBI as the DSL Indians (7-7) recorded a 7-4 win at the DSL Cubs. Jhonkensy Noel contributed a double, run and RBI, and Jerson Ramirez worked two shutout and hitless innings, striking out three, for his first save.
