As the world celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday, Bollywood’s first film family also had something to share. Both Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared Father’s Day messages on social media as well as a special moment with daughter Aaradhya.

Aishwarya, who lost her dad last year, was nostalgic as the world celebrated Fathers’ Day on Sunday and she shared a family pictures on Instagram with her dad’s picture in the frame. The photo had her mother Brinda and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan while she held a picture frame of her father, Krishnaraj. She posted the image with a heart emoji. Aishwarya lost her dad in March 2017.

She also posted a few pics with her sisters and one with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. Now, that is one for a family album.

Husband Abhishek was also quite emotional as he posted pictures with dad Amitabh Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya to mark Fathers’ Day on Sunday. “For holding my hand and guiding my through it all....For teaching me by leading by example....For still holding my hand and for your unending love and support. Happy Father’s Day! Love you Pa. @amitabhbachchan,” he wrote alongside a childhood picture with Big B.

Abhishek also shared a pic with Aaradhya and wrote, “#happyfathersday to this angel for making me a father and making me realise what it takes to do what a father needs to do. I hope I can make you very proud. Papa loves you.”

On the work front, Abhishek is shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan that also stars Taapsee Pannu while Aishwarya is working on Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Fanne Khan where she will be seen along with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
