Terrell Owens doesn't need any more validation to his pro football career.

But after catching 1,078 passes for nearly 16,000 yards and 153 touchdowns — and earning election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in February — Owens still seems fixated on trying to prove he could still play today at age 44.

In an Instagram video posted Monday, Owens showed off his speed with two different stopwatch operators clocking him covering 40 yards in 4.43 and 4.44 seconds.

This comes roughly a month after he posted video of himself working out and showing off his chiseled physique in Los Angeles, while calling on current NFL stars Odell Beckham and Dez Bryant to join him.

Then just a few days after that tweet, he announced a comeback — in virtual form — as the cover subject for the video game Madden NFL 19 Hall of Fame edition.

We've come to expect this kind of grandstanding from someone who's already announced that he won't be present at his own Hall of Fame induction ceremony in August.

Still, with his latest video submission, no one can say he's lost his ability to hustle.
