Delhiites on Sunday got slight respite from heat as the maximum temperature settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius. The weatherman has forecast light rain in the Capital on Monday.
The Meteorological Department said the humidity levels oscillated between 71% and 42% on Sunday, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.2 degrees Celsius.
“There is a possibility of light rain on Monday. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius respectively,” the official said.
On June 16, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 40 degrees and 32.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
