Two militants killed in Jammu and Kashmir

Two militants were killed on Monday by the Army in an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora, a defence official said.

SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed on Monday by the Army in an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora, a defence official said.

"Two terrorists were killed today in the Panar forest area," Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia told IANS here.

The Army surrounded the area after militants fired at a patrol party on June 9.

On June 13, two militants and a soldier were killed in the operation.
