Two men have been arrested and a sawed-off rifle recovered after a report of people pointing a gun at someone on the Saulteaux First Nation.
The alleged incident happened on Saturday around 6 p.m, with no shots fired and no injuries, the RCMP said.
The vehicle the men were suspected of fleeing in was stopped two hours later.
Two women were inside when police pulled them over, and they were arrested but not charged.
Two men were later found in a field by police, who used a police dog in the search. The sawed-off rifle was found nearby, where the men were arrested.
Two men, one 23 and one 26, are set to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday on eight charges. They include pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a weapon and careless use of a firearm.
