J&K: 4 terrorists gunned down by security forces in Bandipora

The operation, which was launched on June 9 after a brief gunfight between the terrorists and security forces, entered 10th straight day today.

The security forces on Monday gunned down four terrorists in an ongoing operation in Raynar forests adjacent to Panar area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district.

The operation, which was launched on June 9 after a brief gunfight between the terrorists and security forces, entered 10th straight day today. During the period the joint team of forces and militants exchanged intermittent firing several times. So far the security forces have killed six terrorists throughout the operation. The more terrorists are expected to be hidden in the forest. 

According to official sources, the terrorists have come from Gurez sector. The joint operation between Indian Army and Special Operation Group continues.
