Two months after his transfer to Bengaluru, T.R. Suresh has returned to take charge as the Mangaluru Police Commissioner on Monday.
It was on June 12 last year that Mr. Suresh took charge as the Police Commissioner replacing incumbent M. Chandra Sekhar.
Following directions by the Election Commission, the State Government transferred Mr. Suresh to the Fire and Emergency Services Department in Bengaluru and posted in his place Vipul Kumar, who was the Director of Karnataka Police Academy (KPA). A few days ago, the government transferred Mr. Suresh to Mangaluru while sending Mr. Kumar back as the Director of KPA.
