Protesting youth, two terrorists killed in Kashmir

One youth was killed and another injured during clashed with forces at Nowpora area of Mir Bazar in south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday evening.

A senior police officer said, a group of youth pelted stones on Army's 9 RR party, who allegedly responded with gunfire. Two persons were hit by bullets and injured critically. A doctor said one of the injured was declared 'brought dead' at an Anantnag hospital. The other injured was referred to specialised treatment.

Meanwhile, Army on Monday killed two terrorists in Pannar Forest area of North Kashmir's Bandipora district. So far four militants and a soldier have been killed in the ongoing 10 days-long operation.
