This combination is something everyone can win with.
It’s a formula to pure success with living a healthy lifestyle. This past weekend, I had a 20-minute conversation with a retired physical education teacher.
She has lived the healthy lifestyle forever — still does and always will. Her passion in our conversation was extremely motivating and inspiring.
Why? Because it revolved around helping everyone around her. Our connection with health and exercise was great. Our conversation could have easily lasted hours.
The biggest take away from our discussion was the fact that her success to always exercise and put her health first was her ability to always move and adapt. It’s been my guide since I was a kid, and it’s been her guide as well.
Her ability to always adapt to what’s in front of her made the importance of exercise at the very top of her list. Her vision to always think ahead, maneuver through scheduling obstacles and always find that time to exercise has made life great for her.
It will make anyone’s life great if you can adapt to always move.
Put Numero Uno first sometimes. Why wouldn’t you?
This is where people stop. They give in; they throw in the towel. They create barriers to why they cannot exercise, bike, walk, do yoga, practice a martial art.
They have yet to believe in always moving and adapting.
Everyone is busy. We all create excuses. It’s human nature. Anyone reading this article creates excuses — even the guy who was typing this.
But our ability to adapt to what’s going to happen will be our No. 1 asset to continued success with a healthy lifestyle.
Having the conversation immediately gave me the idea for this column. I was excited to write it and get it out to everyone because it’s a formula that successful people use to stay healthy, stay positive and then create the ability to pass on their passion for others.
I hope you enjoy reading these columns as much as I enjoy writing them.
