SOCIAL MEDIA TWIST FOR #BB20 pic.twitter.com/je1Sku2g7v
— BBFan (@BBCelebFan18) June 18, 2018For its milestone 20th season, Big Brother is shaking things up with some modern updates.
According to an ad which aired on CBS, Big Brother 20 will get "a high-tech reboot." As host Julie Chen teases in the video, "the houseguests better start trending or their game could crash." While it's still unclear what form these social media updates will take, TV Guide can confirm that this is NOT the twist for Season 20.
However, with the premiere a little over a week away, fans should expect some news about the mysterious new twist soon. And given that it's the 20th season, we're betting it'll be a good one. Last summer, the Den of Temptation had major consequences for the houseguests, and never forget how game-changing the introduction of the Coup d'Etat, Battle of the Block and Team America were when they were first introduced.
As always, we're expecting the unexpected, and the idea of some modern updates on top of a new twist has us thinking this season will be a good one.
Big Brother 20 will feature 16 new houseguests who will compete for the $500,000 cash prize. The series will return with a two-night premiere on Wednesday, June 27 at 8/7c and Thursday, June 28 at 9/8c on CBS.
{Full Disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS.)
