U.S. oil prices finish higher to recoup some of their recent losses

U.S. benchmark oil futures finished higher Monday, recouping less than half of what they lost in the previous session as traders assessed trade tensions between the U.S. and China, and looked to a possible output boost by major crude producers later this week. July West Texas Intermediate crude tacked on 79 cents, or 1.2%, to settle at $65.85 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
