Philip is back on top form at the polo
THE Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were in fine spirits yesterday as they enjoyed a busy afternoon at one of the world’s top polo events. Prince Philip, 97, looked in remarkably good health as he watched the Cartier Queen’s Cup Final at Windsor Great Park.

And the Queen smiled broadly as she presented the winners’ trophy.
Her Majesty looked elegant in a powder-blue dress coat with lace detailing and a matching hat.
Meanwhile, the Duke strolled around the prestigious tournament in a khaki jacket and suit as he inspected the horsemanship on show.
He mingled with guests and walked unaided shortly after his hip operation. The prince was absent from Trooping the Colour but is reportedly set to attend the wedding of Princess Eugenie later this year.

Philip retired from public life last August, quipping at the time that he was no longer able to “stand up much”.
He was himself a keen polo player but took up carriage driving in 1971 after retiring from polo aged 50.
The Cartier Trophy is one of the most important 22-goal polo tournaments, attracting the world’s top players.
Other guests at the starstudded event were socialites Lady Alice Manners and Lady Violet Manners, Viscountess Weymouth and Sabine and Joseph Getty.
Also seen were rapper Tinie Tempah and actresses Jenna Coleman and Lily Collins.
