It galls me to have to refute letter writer O.J. Schlueter’s attack of letter writer Oren Spiegler, all for the sake of promoting the dubious virtues of "conservatism."
It is ironic that when President Obama said he would meet with North Korea, Faux News branded him a traitor, kissing up to dictators; but after Trump’s meeting — which gained America nothing — every conservative patriot expects him to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
To state that “our current president’s leadership has far outshined the past few presidents ...” is naive at best, and delusional at worst, given the fact that Trump is a lying, racist narcissist who has done nothing with all the power that less than half of America voted to give him.
Oh, wait, I forgot the GOP tax scam peanuts that justifies letting the wealthy add millions to their coffers. How much money did Trump garner for his own personal family fortune from that? Look up the term “emoluments clause.” The gutless enablers in the GOP let him totally get away with it.
The end result of the big summit is we give North Korea a chance to prosper — which also aids Trump’s dictatorial allies in Russia and China — and we get to leave South Korea unprotected because the North will claim they got rid of all their nukes.
The "deal-maker" got played, but the state propaganda network (Faux News) will claim it to be an overwhelming success. Just more lies.
