A Niskayuna man is facing multiple felonies after he allegedly ran up more than $29,000 charges using a woman’s identity.

Asif Ismail, 32, was charged with identity theft and grand larceny, State Police said. A Brunswick woman told State Police that several accounts had been opened in her name without her consent.

Ismail was arraigned in Brunswick town court and sent to Rensselaer County jail.
