Thad’s quite an impressive dog with his reddish-colored coat and wrinkly forehead. He’s been at the Beaver County Humane Society in Center Township since March and ready for a permanent home.

Shelter staff said Thad’s shy at first, but warms up quickly once he gets to know you. Thus, his adopters will need to have patience and understanding and work with him to build confidence.

The 2-year-old mixed breed loves attention. Obedience training, lots of playtime and outdoor activity would be great for Thad.

He can be selective with dogs and a loner in playgroups s heo would have to meet any current dogs in the home. Cats are a no. His ideal adopters would be active adults and teenagers.

His $80 adoption fee includes vaccinations, health exams, flea treatment and preventive and neutering. An identification microchip also has been implanted.
