Roger Federer reveals Rafael Nadal boost after winning Stuttgart Open title
ROGER FEDERER admitted he was given a boost after returning to the top of the world ranking before his clash with Milos Raonic.

Federer secured a narrow 6-4, 7-6 win against Raonic to ensure he capped off a brilliant week in style by winning his first Stuttgart Open title.
The Swiss star will leapfrog Rafael Nadal to No 1 in the world rankings when the ATP list is announced tomorrow.
And Federer says getting the top spot back off his arch-rival has provided him with a huge boost of confidence.
The 37-year-old is next in action at the Halle Open next week where he will remain top of the world rankings, even if he does not defend his crown there.

“I think it is going to give me a boost being back at world No 1,” Federer said.
“We’ll see how I play next week.
“I have no idea what is going to happen but I hope I can continue to play good tennis.
