ALBANY - Police are investigating after a man was shot in the arm around 10:10 p.m. Saturday. Officers were called to Second Avenue near Grandview Terrance for a report of shots fired. When they arrived they were told that a 21-year-old man had been taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital.
The man's injuries are non-life threatening, police said.
It was the second shooting in the city that day. At about 3:25 a.m., police were called to Clinton Avenue where a 32-year-old had a gunshot wound to the head. That man's injuries were also not life threatening.
Police said they did not know Sunday if the two shootings were related or if either was connected to a homicide on Livingston Avenue last week. That shooting killed Equan Fallen, 20.
